This privacy policy applies to the RunV app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Grit Agility Ltd (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:

•⁠ ⁠Your device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
•⁠ ⁠The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
•⁠ ⁠The time spent on the Application
•⁠ ⁠The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application collects your device’s location, which helps the Service Provider determine your approximate geographical location and make use of in below ways:

•⁠ ⁠Geolocation Services: The Service Provider utilizes location data to provide features such as personalized content, relevant recommendations, and location-based services.
•⁠ ⁠Analytics and Improvements: Aggregated and anonymized location data helps the Service Provider to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and improve the overall performance and functionality of the Application.
•⁠ ⁠Third-Party Services: Periodically, the Service Provider may transmit anonymized location data to external services. These services assist them in enhancing the Application and optimizing their offerings.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.


Health and Fitness Data Collection

The Application is a running and fitness tracking app that collects, accesses, and processes health and fitness data to provide its core functionality. This section comprehensively describes the health data we access and how we use it.

Health Data We Collect and Access:

•⁠ ⁠Heart Rate Data: We collect heart rate measurements during workouts from connected devices, smartwatches (Apple Watch, Wear OS devices), and integrated fitness platforms (Strava, Garmin Connect, Fitbit). This includes resting heart rate, active heart rate, and heart rate zones.

•⁠ ⁠Workout and Exercise Data: We collect and store running workout information including duration, distance, pace, cadence, elevation gain/loss, calories burned, and workout type.

•⁠ ⁠GPS and Route Data: During workouts, we collect GPS coordinates to track your running route, calculate accurate distances, and provide route mapping features.

•⁠ ⁠Body Measurements: We may collect height, weight, and other body metrics you provide to calculate accurate calorie expenditure and training recommendations.

•⁠ ⁠Sleep and Recovery Data: When connected to supported devices or platforms, we may access sleep duration and quality data to provide recovery recommendations.

Sources of Health Data:

•⁠ ⁠Health Connect (Android): With your permission, we read workout data, heart rate, distance, and calories from Health Connect.
•⁠ ⁠Apple HealthKit (iOS): With your permission, we read and write workout data, heart rate, and activity data to Apple Health.
•⁠ ⁠Apple Watch and Wear OS: We receive workout data including heart rate, GPS routes, and exercise metrics from connected smartwatches.
•⁠ ⁠Strava: With your authorization, we import your running activities including GPS routes, pace, heart rate, and workout summaries.
•⁠ ⁠Garmin Connect: With your authorization, we import workout data including GPS routes, heart rate, pace, and training metrics.
•⁠ ⁠Fitbit: With your authorization, we import activity data including workouts, heart rate, and exercise summaries.

How We Use Your Health Data:

•⁠ ⁠To track and display your running workouts and training progress
•⁠ ⁠To generate personalized AI-powered training plans based on your fitness level
•⁠ ⁠To provide workout analysis, including pace zones, heart rate analysis, and performance trends
•⁠ ⁠To calculate calories burned and other fitness metrics
•⁠ ⁠To sync your workouts across connected platforms and devices
•⁠ ⁠To provide recovery and training load recommendations

Health Data Storage and Security:

Your health and fitness data is stored securely in Firebase Cloud Firestore with encryption in transit and at rest. We retain your workout history and health data for as long as your account is active. You can delete all your health data at any time by deleting your account (see Account and Data Deletion section below).

Health Data Sharing:

We do not sell your health data. Your health data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

•⁠ ⁠With third-party fitness platforms (Strava, Garmin, Fitbit) only when you explicitly connect and authorize the integration
•⁠ ⁠With group training features, only the workout summaries you choose to share with your group
•⁠ ⁠With OpenAI for generating personalized training recommendations (anonymized workout metrics only, no personally identifiable information)

Your Health Data Rights:

•⁠ ⁠You can disconnect any third-party fitness platform at any time from the Profile settings
•⁠ ⁠You can revoke Health Connect or HealthKit permissions through your device settings
•⁠ ⁠You can delete individual workouts or your entire account and all associated health data
•⁠ ⁠You can export your workout data by contacting us at service@gritagility.com


Gait Analysis Feature

The Application includes an optional gait analysis feature that uses your device camera to analyze your running form. This feature uses Google ML Kit with MediaPipe technology for pose detection to track body movements and calculate pronation angles.

Important points about gait analysis:

•⁠ ⁠All video processing happens locally on your device
•⁠ ⁠Video recordings and analysis results are not stored or uploaded anywhere
•⁠ ⁠No data from gait analysis is retained after you close the feature
•⁠ ⁠This feature is for injury awareness only and is not medical advice


Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

•⁠ ⁠as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
•⁠ ⁠when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
•⁠ ⁠with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.


Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.


Account and Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. When you delete your account, all of your personal information, workout history, training plans, and any other data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers.

How to Delete Your Account:

1.⁠ ⁠Open the RunV app on your device
2.⁠ ⁠Navigate to your Profile (tap the menu icon, then select “Profile”)
3.⁠ ⁠Scroll down to find the “Delete Account” option
4.⁠ ⁠Tap “Delete Account” and confirm your decision
5.⁠ ⁠Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Alternatively, you can request account deletion by contacting us at service@gritagility.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Please note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to all your workout history, training plans, and any subscription benefits associated with your account.


Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at service@gritagility.com and they will respond in a reasonable time. You may also delete your account directly within the app as described in the Account and Data Deletion section above.


Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (service@gritagility.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.


Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.


Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-02-19

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
